Myles Simmons of ProFootballTalk.com reports that Commanders QB Jayden Daniels is out for at least this week’s game against the Seahawks, with no clear timeline for his return. Head coach Dan Quinn told reporters he has no update on Daniels, who is seeing another specialist on Wednesday, September 23, for his dislocated left elbow, which was re-injured on the last play of the second quarter in Sunday’s loss to the Cowboys. “I’m not going to assume on the timeline,” Quinn said. “Once I know, I’ll share it with you to go… But as far as a timeline, or what, or who else to add, we’ll wait on that.” Marcus Mariota is set to start for Washington against Seattle, and Quinn also ruled out S Nick Cross for Week 3 with an internal injury, while RG Sam Cosmi is in the concussion protocol.
