Bengals | Burrow ‘sore’ after Houston win as Iosivas heads to IR with torn thumb

Bengals.com reports that head coach Zac Taylor said Cincinnati QB Joe Burrow is sore after last Sunday’s win in Houston and won’t know his practice status until the team takes the field Wednesday afternoon. Taylor also confirmed that WR Andrei Iosivas is headed to injured reserve with torn thumb ligaments, saying, “It’s a weeks’ issue, not a season-long issue. It will definitely be the IR window, plus maybe a little bit more.” Taylor said the team will replace Iosivas’ production by committee, pointing to TE Mike Gesicki and the receiver room, while WR Ke’Shawn Williams, inactive the first two games, figures to be active against Pittsburgh. DT B.J. Hill (Achilles) is listed as wait-and-see after missing last Sunday’s game.
