Rams DE Myles Garrett will need about six weeks to recover from knee surgery, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported. Garrett struggled to play through the knee injury in the Week 1 loss to the 49ers, then had surgery and was placed on injured reserve. The Rams’ Week 9 game against the Commanders on November 8 looks like his most likely return date, although Garrett is reportedly hoping to return sooner. He practiced little in training camp and did not play in the preseason while dealing with what the team called knee swelling.
