Commanders QB Jayden Daniels, who dislocated his left elbow in the Week 2 loss to the Cowboys, is expected back in three weeks or sooner after meeting with specialists, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported. Daniels will reportedly play with a brace on the elbow once he returns. General manager Adam Peters said on Friday that surgery was not on the table and that the team had not discussed placing Daniels on injured reserve. QB Marcus Mariota will step in as the starter until Daniels returns.
