Despite reports on Sunday that Cleveland would evaluate the quarterback position after Week 2 with an eye toward starting Shedeur Sanders in Week 3, Browns HC Todd Monken indicated Watson will start Cleveland’s home opener against Carolina on Sunday, saying, “I still see him as a very young player that is going to continue to grow.”
