We all know the NFL, which stands for Not For Long; if you sit back and rest on your laurels, you find yourself on the losing end of the game. Conversely, if you have a rough draft and injuries are already mounting, itâs an opportunity to gain an edge on your opponent. This article aims to find some weekly streaming options if you need them. It is also helpful during bye-week challenges. The percentages listed are the overall ownership of the player. Snap Counts & Usage From Week 17
Armando Marsal takes a look at notable trends in snap counts and usage from last week. Like I do every year, I will dive into offensive snap counts after each week. This article will focus on identifying changes, trends, and things we should be taking note of for players and their opportunities. Snap counts are a part of my weekly analysis because they gauge how often a player is on the field, which could translate into potential opportunity to produce fantasy points. Even though playing time does not always translate into fantasy points, the path to scoring fantasy points is easier for those players on the field. Looking at snap counts and comparing them to volume/touches also gives us a clear picture of a playerâs role in their offense. Some positions, such as quarterbacks, are straight forward, but others not so much. I will focus primarily on situations that we need to be keeping a close eye on and situations that stand out to me. At the end of the article I will include a spreadsheet with all the weekly snap counts for all teams, along with the YTD snap counts.

The lineup is the one I entered into all of my 50/50 single-entry 100-man tournaments on FanDuel. I will also give you insight into my process and how I break down Jeff Mansâ Cash Game article. I use 95% of the same players you will find in Jeffâs article. There may be a player I use from my own player pool. Jeffâs plays arenât gospel, but the philosophies are. Cash games have changed, and while many will run away from them, and I donât blame them, I will still try to crack the code of Cash Games. Stacking in cash is something that I will not try to do every week, but we canât just simply remove a player from our player pool because we already have a player from his team. DFS Marlinâs Catch of the Week: NFL DFS & Betting Selections Week 17
Last week was another slow DFS week as we approach closing out the regular season, and this article went just 18/32, hitting at just a 56% clip, but still solidifying our season average hit rate at about 64%. The cover player hit with an end-of-game TD; however, it was a struggle for Gibbs to get there, as the Lionsâ season started to unravel, and he only made up fantasy value for his role in the passing game. Overall, cover players are now 10/16 on the year, bringing us to a similar average at 63%. Overall, not the best week, but according to my tracking, we are still due for a big week, and this is the time of the year we normally start to catch fire, so letâs get after it! Holiday football season continues with three games that occurred in Week 17 on Christmas Day and another two games on Saturday, resulting in some of my favorite slates knowing they will be a bit smaller, and also presenting us with news-based opportunities, including but not limited to playoff implications, contract incentives, injury replacements, etc. The goal of this article is to provide some insight and transparency into my DFS & betting process and approach leading up to an NFL slate, along with picks and plays that Iâve landed on for this week in result. Generally, my goal for the season is to provide DFS plays that hit at a 65-70% clip, and we are just about doing that. Any given week, the approach and strategy may adjust, depending on what the slate looks like and how I want to attack it.
