Playing football DFS isn’t limited to the pro game, and with so many games on the college side of things, knowing who and how to approach the game is that much more important. With CFB DFS, we want to focus on the fastest-paced games. The majority of the time you will want to eat some chalk in CFB, which I will notate every week. I will be providing my core four here, which will be Cash- and GPP-viable plays. Generally, we will be focusing on game totals at or over 57.5 implied total points. Ideally, for game stacks, we want a fast-paced, competitive game with a high total. There will be plays with lower game totals simply due to pricing, usage (targets, catches, etc.), overall slate builds, and so forth. Fantasy Guru! I’m back for another season of NFL DFS. Every week during the season, I will highlight the featured contests with the best payouts on both FanDuel and DraftKings. The kind of contests that are best to enter are both sites’ single-entry contests. Generally, FanDuel seems to feature more single-entry contests with better payouts. I also don’t mind contests with 3-5 entry max. Once we have found the single entry or 3-5 entry max contests, it’s all about finding a payout that is greater than 20%, preferably 25% or greater. Snap Counts & Usage From Week 16
Armando Marsal takes a look at notable trends in snap counts and usage from last week. Like I do every year, I will dive into offensive snap counts after each week. This article will focus on identifying changes, trends, and things we should be taking note of for players and their opportunities. Snap counts are a part of my weekly analysis because they gauge how often a player is on the field, which could translate into potential opportunity to produce fantasy points. Even though playing time does not always translate into fantasy points, the path to scoring fantasy points is easier for those players on the field. Looking at snap counts and comparing them to volume/touches also gives us a clear picture of a player’s role in their offense. Some positions, such as quarterbacks, are straight forward, but others not so much. I will focus primarily on situations that we need to be keeping a close eye on and situations that stand out to me. At the end of the article I will include a spreadsheet with all the weekly snap counts for all teams, along with the YTD snap counts.

The lineup is the one I entered into all of my 50/50 single-entry 100-man tournaments on FanDuel. I will also give you insight into my process and how I break down Jeff Mans’ Cash Game article. I use 95% of the same players you will find in Jeff’s article. There may be a player I use from my own player pool. Jeff’s plays aren’t gospel, but the philosophies are. Cash games have changed, and while many will run away from them, and I don’t blame them, I will still try to crack the code of Cash Games. Stacking in cash is something that I will not try to do every week, but we can’t just simply remove a player from our player pool because we already have a player from his team.
