The Week 9 Contest Selections!! Every week during the season, I am going to highlight the featured contests with the best payouts on both FanDuel and DraftKings. The kind of contests that are best to enter are the single-entry contests both sites have. Generally, FanDuel seems to feature more single-entry contests with better payouts. I also donât mind NFL DFS contests with 3-5 entry max. Once we have found the single-entry or 3-5 entry max contests, itâs all about finding a payout that is greater than 20%, preferably 25% or greaterâŠ

Welcome to Week 2 of our NFL DFS Quarterbacks coach article â where I identify optimal point-per-dollar plays for our lineups on FanDuel and DraftKings. The biggest factors to consider when selecting Quarterbacks for our DFS lineups are matchup, game flow, Vegas totals and spread. Ideally, facing weak defenses with subpar secondaries are always our first target. For Quarterbacks to be viable DFS plays, we must focus on matchups where we believe the games will stay close and competitive or a team will be losing late and need to throw. For GPPs/tournaments, I tend to avoid Quarterbacks who are large Vegas favorites (14+ points), knowing that, if these favorites get out to a big lead early, they will stay between the tackles and run the ball most of the time. Letâs get into the plays for Week 2!

DFS NFL Cash Game Breakdown â Week 8
Jeff Mans breaks down everything you need to know to build safe, high-floor lineups for your cash games. I know that I am starting to get old. There are reminders set up for me every day, whether it is my bones creaking when I get out of the chair, or the fatigue I feel late at night when I write these long-winded articles. The part that bothers me most, however, is forgetting whether it was my Father or my Uncle Ed who first told me that ânothing great will ever come easily.â I think of those words just about every day of my life, and I think they are very important for all of us as we enter week eight of the DFS season. This has been a tough year for fantasy football. That goes for seasonal, betting and definitely for DFS. I mean, just this past Monday, we witnessed one of the biggest upsets ever in the lowly Chicago Bears beating the snot out of the New England Patriots. It was the first time in 22 years that the Bears beat New England. That game cost me $6 million. Seriously. If you are like me, it is very likely that you too have suffered an appalling number of injuries to players in your DFS lineups this season. These havenât been injury-prone players. These havenât been guys with preexisting injuries or ailments that just flared up during the game. Hell, two of the three core four players weâve lost (five total players in lineups) didnât even suffer an injury. Think about THAT for a minute. Weâve lost QB Teddy Bridgewater and WR Amon-Ra St. Brown to first-drive injuries, and neither of them was actually injured at all. If that isnât bad luck, then bad luck doesnât exist. Itâs hard not to get angry about bad luck. Itâs difficult to understand that it isnât ONLY happening to YOU. It is a constant struggle to realize that we are not doing anything wrong. I know that for me personally, if not for losing five players in my cash game lineups this season, I would be 7-0 in cash games. That is a REAL difficult pill to swallow, and I am sure that I am not alone. But it is not over. In fact, we have 11 more regular season weeks, including some fantastic slates on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. We are not getting beat by anybody either. In fact, the pay lines have never been lower in the history of DFS. Lineup optimizers have been shitting out downright funny lineups that folks are using every week. This explains how we have been able to win a couple of weeks even after losing players to injury. That is why itâs important to remember the lesson my Dad taught me all those years ago. If the payoff wasnât worth this grind, then none of us would be doing it. I mean, who wants this kind of stress and anger in their lives? The fact that hovers over us all is that, when all the dust settles on the 2022 NFL and DFS season, there will be winners, and there will be losers. Those who give up now will seal their fate. Those of us who persevere will be in control of our own trajectory. We will survive, we will thrive, and we will win in the end. Or maybe it was my Uncle EdâŠ

Many of you already know who I am from talking with me in Discord, but for those who donât, I have been playing DFS for almost two years now and have found great success in that short period of time. I was approached by Jeff with an opportunity to try writing and putting my own thoughts and process into an NFL GPP article. After plenty of trial and error, I have found that my style of DFS is more suited to GPP contests and most notably single-entry and three-max contests. The thing I found is I am more than willing to take a stand on players/game theories I believe in; sometimes they work, others they donât, but I am willing to stand by my beliefs and put that up against anyone. What I have found is people tend to take fewer ârisksâ in a single-entry contest. Generally, we will be focusing on game totals at or over 57.5 implied total points. Ideally for game stacks we want a fast-paced competitive game with a high total.
