Pierce has averaged 1.3 and 2.9 yards per carry over the last two weeks, and the Eagles have run 31 times for 57 yards in losses to the Jaguars and Panthers, including 35 yards on 13 carries Sunday. Head coach Nick Sirianni pointed to the Panthers’ lead for the lack of runs Sunday, saying, “Obviously, right now we’re not running the ball the way we want to.”
