Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield, who has missed the last three games with a dislocated right thumb, split practice reps with rookie QB Jalon Daniels on Wednesday while wearing a glove on his right hand. “I think he’s coming along fine,” head coach Todd Bowles said Wednesday, adding that Mayfield said throwing with the glove “felt good.” Bowles said the decision on whether Mayfield starts Sunday against the Panthers will likely come Friday: “See what he looks like Friday and I’ll find out then.” Bowles noted that with a thumb injury, “you can see flat out and you can kind of know if you want to play him or not.”
