I don’t bet teams: Betting teams is for Joe at the VFW. Joe reads the daily papers and has had the same bookie at Jim’s Dive Bar for 15 years. Joe thinks he knows who will win the big game, Joe has locks, Joe knows if a QB has a cold, Joe knows what his cousin Vin “the sports betting pro” has on the game.

Joe fucking pays his bookie every Monday as he cries into his Natty Light Draft that he gets for $1.50 at the VFW. Don’t be a loser like Joe. Joe has an ugly wife a cheap house and rides the bus. Joe can’t pick his ass let alone who will win a game.

Losers like Joe don’t understand that they can’t predict who will win a game. If you want to be a better bettor, start with accepting that you cannot predict who will win. Every event has a range of outcomes that are priced by a highly liquid market. By market close, all information that is known will have been priced into the line.

Respect that and bet on sports like the stock market, decide what a fair price is and stick to it. NO ONE knows who will win a game or by what margin. It is simply a fallacy. The best of the best understand market valuation and take advantage of inefficiencies. Even The Great Tommy G does this, he decides what an acceptable risk is on a game and bets accordingly. Personally, I know to the penny how much I am willing to pay for a side or total. I do not deviate from these valuations and clearly understand that I have no idea who will win. Don’t be a loser like Joe respect the market and understand you have no clue who will actually win.
