Green Bay Packers WR Mecole Hardman’s performance during the team’s preseason opener against the New York Jets was a ‘disaster,’ in the opinion of The Athletic’s Matt Schneidman, who noted that Hardman made two bad plays on special teams, including a lost fumble, and dropped his only target as a wideout. Schneidman added that Hardman ‘seemed penciled into the 53-man roster’ before his poor showing against the Jets, which could open the door for another wideout.
