Welcome, mafia, to year four of my cash game review. I am excited to go over my process and NFL DFS lineup once again. The lineup is the one I entered into all of my 50/50 single-entry 100-man tournaments on FanDuel. I will also give you insight into my process and how I break down Jeff Mans’ Cash Game article. I use 95% of the same players you will find in Jeff’s article. There may be a player I use from my own player pool. Jeff’s plays aren’t gospel, but the philosophies are. Cash games have changed, and while many will run away from them, and I don’t blame them, I will still try to crack the code of Cash Games. Stacking in cash is something that I will not try to do every week, but we can’t just simply remove a player from our player pool because we already have a player from his team. We had a nice bounce-back week last week, going 14/22 and hitting at a 64% clip, which is right in line with this article’s average hit rate on the season. Last week’s cover player hit right away, now going 7/9 (78%) on cover players this year for what that’s worth, and it was surprising to see Jennings not be more involved after his initial TD, but nonetheless paid off at the low price point of $4,300. This week, we’ve got a 10-game slate with seven games via the early window and three games in the afternoon. I’m eyeing down 5-6 main lineups this week at full units, with another full unit on the afternoon-only slate. The goal of this article is to provide some insight and transparency into my DFS & betting process and approach leading up to an NFL slate, along with picks and plays that I’ve landed on for this week in result. Generally, my goal for the season is to provide DFS plays that hit at a 65-70% clip, and we are just about doing that. Week 10 is here, and by now, the season has settled in enough that we’re working with a real sample size. The preseason noise is gone, the early hype has either fizzled or stuck, and we have a much clearer idea of which offenses actually function and which ones are still stuck in neutral. Welcome to the 2025 version of the Start/Sit Breakdown. This article focuses on the questions you, our subscribers, ask most frequently each week, including our start-sit decisions. I will maintain, though, that there is far too much focus on who to start and not enough emphasis on roster construction. After 30 years of playing this game, I’ve found that worrying less about start-and-sit decisions and more about proper roster construction has led to greater success. We spend each week racking our brains over who to use in the flex spot, as three or four players share a similar outlook. I’d rather load my bench with players who have a potential path to high-volume workloads. That means some weeks, my bench is loaded with players scoring little to no points.
