2025 NFL DFS Contest Selection: Week 7
Fantasy Guru! Iâm back for another season of NFL DFS. Every week during the season, I will highlight the featured contests with the best payouts on both FanDuel and DraftKings. The kind of contests that are best to enter are both sitesâ single-entry contests. Generally, FanDuel seems to feature more single-entry contests with better payouts. I also donât mind contests with 3-5 entry max. Snap Counts & Usage From Week 6
Armando Marsal takes a look at notable trends in snap counts and usage from last week. Like I do every year, I will dive into offensive snap counts after each week. This article will focus on identifying changes, trends, and things we should be taking note of for players and their opportunities. Snap counts are a part of my weekly analysis because they gauge how often a player is on the field, which could translate into potential opportunity to produce fantasy points. Even though playing time does not always translate into fantasy points, the path to scoring fantasy points is easier for those players on the field. Looking at snap counts and comparing them to volume/touches also gives us a clear picture of a playerâs role in their offense. Some positions, such as quarterbacks, are straight forward, but others not so much. I will focus primarily on situations that we need to be keeping a close eye on and situations that stand out to me. At the end of the article I will include a spreadsheet with all the weekly snap counts for all teams, along with the YTD snap counts.

I use 95% of the same players you will find in Jeffâs article. There may be a player I use from my own player pool. Jeffâs plays arenât gospel, but the philosophies are. Cash games have changed, and while many will run away from them, and I donât blame them, I will still try to crack the code of Cash Games. Stacking in cash is something that I will not try to do every week, but we canât just simply remove a player from our player pool because we already have a player from his team. DFS Marlinâs Catch of the Week: NFL DFS & Betting Selections Week 6
Although I wasnât profitable last week, this article itself hit at a high clip, and we are seeing success with our process so far. Last weekâs selections were highlighted by the stud performance from Rico Dowdle, and overall, we hit at a 71% clip (20/28) from this article last week, which is higher than our average 65% hit rate, in effect raising that overall average a bit. Getting C.J. Stroud right was big because it feels like Iâm starting to get into a rhythm with my QB selection now, too (although not perfect with Herbert falling flat on a 14-point outing after starting off strong last week). Weâre still perfect on article cover players on the year, going 5/5 for what thatâs worth. Weâre humming right now, given our hit rate, and Iâm feeling a big win is close here. Considering how the slate is set up with seven games early and just three in the afternoon, Iâm likely only playing the main slate and will potentially have some game-time decision 4 PM lineups in mind to protect my main slate lineups this week. The goal of this article is to provide some insight and transparency into my DFS & betting process and approach leading up to an NFL slate, along with picks and plays that Iâve landed on for this week in result. Any given week, the approach and strategy may adjust, depending on what the slate looks like and how I want to attack it.
