Bearded1inkedup breaks down the Thursday slate!! Playing football DFS isnât limited to the pro game, and with so many games on the college side of things, knowing who and how to approach the game is that much more important. With CFB DFS, we want to focus on the fastest-paced games. The majority of the time you will want to eat some chalk in CFB, which I will notate every week. I will be providing my core four here, which will be cash- and GPP-viable plays. Generally, we will be focusing on game totals at or over 57.5 implied total points. Ideally, for game stacks, we want a fast-paced competitive game with a high total. There will be plays with lower game totals simply due to pricing, usage (targets, catches, etc.), overall slate builds, and so forth. Letâs look at this weekâs playsâŠ

The Week 8 Contest Selections!! Every week during the season, I am going to highlight the featured contests with the best payouts on both FanDuel and DraftKings. The kind of contests that are best to enter are the single-entry contests both sites have. Generally, FanDuel seems to feature more single-entry contests with better payouts. I also donât mind NFL DFS contests with 3-5 entry max. Once we have found the single-entry or 3-5 entry max contests, itâs all about finding a payout that is greater than 20%, preferably 25% or greaterâŠ

Week 8 is upon us!! Ted Schuster breaks down the Week 8 RBs for your Cash and GPP needs!! Welcome to your weekly RB Breakdown that you will find available every Wednesday during the season. This is an early look at the best RBs available on the main Sunday slate. It is important to note this article is posted mid-week, so injuries and other news can change the outlook as we get to SundayâŠ

Rich Maletto looks at the players to buy, sell or cut after Week 8!! This piece will highlight players to targets in trades, who to move on from in a transaction, and who could be cut if you want to make a waiver wire or free agent addition. Some of our most difficult decisions stem from who do we walk away from regarding our rosters. Early on, this article will be about targeting players to help make our rosters better in the near future. As the season rolls on, we will evolve to target players we should add for our fantasy postseason run. Please donât get me wrong, you have to make the playoffs first, but itâs too late to try to build for the playoff run once we pass the trade deadline. You are too late if you wait to make the playoffs to build for the postseason. You have to plan to build to win at the end of the year and through the playoffs. Always look, note, and get an idea of ideal targets for the end-of-the-season push. That said, letâs dig into an early look at players that we could potentially add for the correct value. Keep in mind the best way to add via the trade is to target players whose values are down now, but you expect to increase in value. And always look to trade from a position of strength to a place of weakness. Some or all of these players may not be available to you simply because you canât offer a commodity, a player that makes the other team âbetter.â Conversely, you may not be able to move some of the sell players because other team managers donât see value in adding the player.

Chris Rose breaks down the Week 8 QBs for your Cash and GPP needs!! What a great week one in the 2022 season! Welcome to Week 2 of our NFL DFS Quarterbacks coach article â where I identify optimal point-per-dollar plays for our lineups on FanDuel and DraftKings. The biggest factors to consider when selecting Quarterbacks for our DFS lineups are matchup, game flow, Vegas totals and spread. Ideally, facing weak defenses with subpar secondaries are always our first target. For Quarterbacks to be viable DFS plays, we must focus on matchups where we believe the games will stay close and competitive or a team will be losing late and need to throw. For GPPs/tournaments, I tend to avoid Quarterbacks who are large Vegas favorites (14+ points), knowing that, if these favorites get out to a big lead early, they will stay between the tackles and run the ball most of the time. Letâs get into the plays for Week 2!

Phil Backert spotlights Week 7 top performers and the Week 8 Waiver Wire!! Welcome to another season where we try to spotlight some players who should be able to give your IDP teams a boost. I try to avoid the chalky names, but sometimes those situations are too good, and they will be mentioned.  As a reminder, check out my weekly IDP rankings, as they will be updated all the way through kickoff.  Hit me up on Twitter @PhilBackert or Discord @PBackert, and Iâll be more than happy to answer any questions you may haveâŠ

Sharkbait provides his ownership and GPP advice! Hello Mafia, Welcome to a mini-coaching session I wanted to do because I am seeing a lot of these questions circulating Discord as well as watching many of you make common mistakes in how you are using ownership projections. Also, there have been a lot of questions about how to build a DFS GPP lineup vs. a cash one. What is important, whatâs not, and so on. Instead of trying to answer these questions over and over in Discord, I figured an article would be good to answer these questions as well as give you something you can go back to over the course of the season to use as a refresher should you need it. So letâs get into itâŠ

Rich Maletto takes an early look at waivers, pointing out his favorite players to target at each position, including a FAAB recommendation. Happy Monday Fantasy Guru fam! Hopefully, you survived the first week of the season and if you are in a nail biter on Monday night, well, may the force be with you! If you have not already done so, I strongly encourage you read Jeff Mansâ Week 1 Recap. This is my go-to every Monday morning, loaded with so much valuable information. Week 1 had some notable players go down with injuries, but the good news is that for the most part, none of the injuries appears to be season-ending. That said, some players could miss some time, which means that some players could see more opportunities in the upcoming weeks and roles could increase. We still have one game left on the Week 1 schedule, but there was plenty to take in this weekend. As I will be doing every Monday this season, I want to take an early look at the waivers, pointing out some players that stood out, those that I am prioritizing off waivers this week, as well as others that should be on your radar. Letâs dive right into it.

Jeff Mansâ pages of notes from the day of football along with key takeaways from Armando Marsal and Ted Schuster! As many of you already know, I donât miss anything when it comes to the NFL or fantasy football. This is mostly because I watch every single snap of every single game every single week. I have hard drives full of every game that I go back and reference whenever there is something in question. I donât do all of this for my health. Quite the contrary, I do this for all of you. So that when you spend your time and/or money with us here at Fantasy Guru, you will always be in the know. So, every week once the dust settles, I will take my pages of notes from the day of football and put them into proper seasonal and daily fantasy context right here. For this season, I have brought along some help, as Armando Marsal will be covering the injuries for us, while Ted Schuster takes a break from his smoke break to provide us with a few âTedâs Takeawaysâ each week. If you have ANY questions about any game, team, player or situation, donât ever be afraid to reach out and ask.

Jason Bales breaks down the Sunday late slate action!! Here are the best NFL Player Picks for September 15, 2022⊠Keenan Allen is officially out this week for the Los Angeles Chargers, which means Mike Williams will step into the top wide receiver role for tonightâs game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Jeff Mans breaks down everything you need to know to build safe, high-floor lineups for your cash games. When I reflect on the 2022 DFS NFL season at the end of the year, week six will most likely be my proudest moment. That was a real tough week that we just navigated with the âgame of the seasonâ (Bills/Chiefs) being on the main slate and a highly owned secondary contest (Cardinals/Seahawks) closely behind. I am proud that we were able to identify the Bengals as a ripe investment, considering their two star players (Burrow & Chase) were returning to the scene of their biggest collegiate achievement. We got both Joe Burrow and JaâMarr Chase at below 15% ownership in every contest, which led many of us to the promised land. It wasnât a massive week and I am sure there will be many much more profitable weeks ahead, but taking the right two players from the big game in Josh Allen and Travis Kelce along with the simple pay-down RBs put the thread through the needle. Even if you didnât use the core four or the Bengals connection, consider it a huge win as long as you didnât go crazy on letâs say the trainwreck known as the Carolina PanthersâŠlol. If you love high-flying offensive football, then this week is not going to be for you. Weâve got four of the highest-scoring and most productive offenses in the league off this week. Alright, well maybe the Rams are no longer fun to watch, but losing Cooper Kupp takes away one of my favorite weekly GPP plays. The Bills, Vikings and Eagles being off along with the Cardinals, Saints, Patriots, Steelers and Dolphins on at primetime thins out our week seven player pool considerablyâŠ

The Seige breaks down Week 7 for your GPP needs!! Seigeâs GPP Breakdown Whatâs going on everyone! Welcome back to another year of NFL DFS! For those of you returning this article is going to be a blend of my Seigeâs Takes column from past years and the typical GPP write up. As always looking for feedback about what you like and donât like about the article so be sure to let me know and this will adapt as the year goes forward to match what you are looking for. For each position group, Iâll go through the chalk options on DK and a generic breakdown of the top options and then Iâll share where Iâm at in my 150-max script of the FD Sunday Million and the reasons why Iâm taking stands where I am and why Iâm fading certain guys. Disclaimer/Common Sense: These are my percentages as of Thursday Night/Friday Morning (most weeks this will be Saturday %âs) obviously a lot can happen between now and lock and I will be modifying these percentages/plays all the way up til lock. So, donât take this as gospel for where I exactly end up but more of a guide.
