Jaguars WR Travis Hunter’s breakout offensive game against the Texans won’t necessarily mean a dramatic and steady increase in his offensive snaps, offensive coordinator Grant Udinski said on Thursday. “That’s something that will probably vary week-to-week,” Udinski said, adding, “Some weeks, it might be a strong feature of Travis… and then the next game it might only be two or three catches or a couple touches.” Hunter played nine offensive snaps in the Week 6 loss to Houston, catching a season-high four passes for 59 yards and a touchdown, while also starting at cornerback and recording an interception. He has played 311 snaps at cornerback and 30 at wide receiver this season, and Udinski said the team will “continue to try to build his route tree.”
