49ers RB Christian McCaffrey said after Sunday’s 29-20 loss to the Falcons that he was confident his thigh injury is not a long-term issue. “It sucks because it feels like I was going on a run there and then my leg just died on me. Tried to get it going for the whole rest of the game. I know I’ll be alright,” McCaffrey said. He had returned to the field in uniform to start the second half.
