Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell announced on Thursday that QB Carson Wentz will start Monday night’s Week 9 game against the Bills because QB Kyler Murray’s hamstring injury will keep him sidelined. Murray was hurt late in Sunday’s 19-15 loss to the Lions. The injury was ruled a Grade 1 sprain and his prognosis was listed as day-to-day, but O’Connell ruled him out three days early.
