Former Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy is expected to be named as the next head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers, sources said Saturday, Jan. 24. McCarthy posted a 49-35 regular-season record in five NFL seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, and he won six NFC North Division titles with the Green Bay Packers between 2006 and 2018, including a Super Bowl XLV victory over the Steelers. He would replace Mike Tomlin, who stepped down after 19 seasons at the helm. McCarthy is 11-11 in the postseason, with eight division titles and 174 career victories, which is 13th all-time in NFL history.
