Ray Flowers starts by discussin the Rangers 2-1 series lead over the Diamondbacks in the World Series. Then, he breaks down the exciting and FREE new show offered by FantasyGuru.com – Fantasy Sports Daily.
WORLD SERIES NOTES
TEX leads the series 2-1.
Speaking of scoring first, the Rangers are killing it.
Oh, the team winning Game 3 after entering with the series tied 1-1, well, they win an awful lot.
The defense has been solid.
Evan Carter has had an amazing postseason (.333/.452/.549) and he nearly set a record last night for the youngster cleanup hitter.
Adolis Garcia is having an MRI on his left side, and as of this writing it is unclear if he will miss time or now. Travis Jankowski will likely replace him in the lineup if need be. He brings speed and defense, but Garcia could probably produce as much offense as Travis if he hit left handed.
Jose Leclerc is basically pitching every game, he’s appears in 12 of 15 games, and having tons of success (1.05 WHIP).
Brandon Pfaadt made his fifth start in Game 3 to tie the all-time rookie postseason record. He has a 1.09 WHIP and 3.27 ERA with 26 punchouts over 22 innings.
Max Scherzer doesn’t know if his postseason is done or not. He thinks he should know in under 48 hours if he will be able to pitch through his back spasms. “I’ve got to see how bad this is, if the drugs can work,” he said. “There is definitely a path forward for me to get out of this and get back onto the mound.”
