The Ravens have reached out to the Bears about QB Tyson Bagent, who is Baltimore’s top trade pursuit according to multiple high-ranking NFL personnel executives, Sports Illustrated’s Jason La Canfora reported on Sunday. Baltimore is headed into the trade deadline without QB Lamar Jackson, who is going on injured reserve after thumb surgery, and with QB Tyler Huntley dealing with turf toe, leaving rookie undrafted free agent QB Joe Fagnano. La Canfora reported that the Bears rebuffed all overtures for Bagent over the summer and believe he can be a valuable backup in head coach Ben Johnson’s system, with one NFL GM saying, “Chicago doesn’t have to trade him. They like him.” The trade deadline is November 10.
