49ers WR Deebo Samuel (hamstring) posted a video of himself working out at the team’s practice facility during Tuesday’s day off, suggesting there’s a chance he could return for Sunday’s Week 9 game against the Raiders. Samuel has been sidelined since injuring his hamstring in the Week 5 game against the Seahawks, and a decision on his status will likely be made later this week. Samuel had 16 receptions for 206 yards and three touchdowns, plus nine carries for 78 yards, before the injury. San Francisco could also be without WR Mike Evans (Achilles) again this week.
