Minnesota Vikings QB J.J. McCarthy was given ‘lengthy call sheets before practices’ and ‘was responsible for calls at the line of scrimmage’ during offseason activities, according to The Athletic’s Alec Lewis, who writes that McCarthy threw the ball with accuracy and that his arm strength ‘stood out.’ Lewis adds that the coaching staff hope that making things more difficult during the offseason program will ‘supercharge’ McCarthy’s growth in 2025.
