Texans | Aireontae Ersery had broken thumb

Houston Texans OT Aireontae Ersery (thumb) missed Week 17’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers because he was recovering from surgery to repair a broken thumb Tuesday, Dec. 23. Metal hardware was inserted into the thumb in order to aid the healing process and Ersery was able to practice on a limited basis Thursday, Dec. 25, according to a league source.
