Steelers | Pat Freiermuth has contract restructured

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Pat Freiermuth had his contract restructured Saturday, May 23, according to multiple sources. The move allows the team to free up some salary cap space for the 2026 season. Pittsburgh turned a portion of Freiermuth’s $7.6 base salary for the upcoming campaign into a roster bonus, after he had already earned a $1.3 million roster bonus back in March.
