The Seattle Seahawks had expressed interest in former Indianapolis Colts OG Will Fries in free agency, according to Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times. However, the organization wanted him to come in to take a physical before offering him a contract, since he had fractured his tibia last October. The physical could not take place until the new league year started Wednesday, March 12, but since the Vikings did not require one, Fries opted to sign a five-year deal with Minnesota instead.
