Seattle Seahawks QB Sam Darnold (oblique) will start the NFC Championship Game versus the Los Angeles Rams Sunday, Jan. 25, even though he split reps at quarterback in practice during the week with QB Drew Lock because of a lingering oblique issue. He will receive a pain-killing injection and is likely to throw in the locker room as part of an altered pregame routine that will be similar to his preparation for last week’s Divisional Round playoff contest versus the San Francisco 49ers.
