Las Vegas Raiders QB Gardner Minshew is a candidate to be released this offseason, in the opinion of The Athletic’s Tashan Reed. According to Spotrac, the Raiders would only free up $3 million of salary cap space and take a dead money hit of $10.82 million if he is released prior to June 1. However, if he is let go after that date, Las Vegas would free up $6 million in cap space and be able to spread the dead money hit over two seasons, with $7.82 million being applied in 2025 and the remaining amount in 2026.
