Carolina Panthers OT Ikem Ekwonu (knee) is expected to miss between six and 12 months while recovering from surgery for his ruptured patellar tendon, and head coach Dave Canales said the Panthers will have to take Ekwonu’s injury into account when deciding how to approach the offseason.
