Western Michigan WR Corey Davis (ankle) is not fully recovered from his ankle injury but was able to work out with former NFL wide receivers coach Jerry Sullivan Friday, April 21. Sullivan said he thought Davis looked very explosive during the workout and showed really good instincts.

Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford (finger) said his injured middle finger didn't require surgery, just rest, and it started to feel better in February. In the 12 games before the injury, Stafford completed 67.2 percent of his passes with 21 touchdowns and five interceptions. Over the final five games, including a playoff loss to the Seattle Seahawks, he completed 59.6 percent with three touchdowns and 10 interceptions.

'I've been running, jumping, throwing, cutting, everything,' Carr said. 'So I'm ready to rock. I'm ready to do absolutely everything. I did everything my teammates did today. I'll do everything my teammates will do tomorrow.'

Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton (shoulder) will be restricted from throwing throughout organized team activities, but he'll be able to participate in the two weeks of strength and conditioning and physical rehabilitation that makes up Phase 1. He should also be able to take part in Phases 2 and 3, with the exception of anything that might put stress on his right shoulder.
