Former Minnesota Vikings general manager Rick Spielman announced on his podcast on Thursday, Feb. 6, that he accepted a senior football adviser position with the New York Jets. He made it clear during his announcement that his job will be to act as a ‘sounding board’ for the final decision-makers: new head coach Aaron Glenn and new general manager Darren Mougey.
