This is a very challenging week. There is one very simple thing that I do not like about fantasy football. That one thing is possibly the thing that some of you like most however. That thing is variance. I absolutely hate randomness in every form of competition. I believe in hard work, knowledge and experience being what separates people in any kind of competition. There is not a single aspect of the 2024 NFL that I am not aware or informed about. But when you take a collection of 22 players and assign them a value as we do with DST, I just don’t have a counter to that. There is none because it’s random. Even when people claim there isn’t, there is.
All of that knowledge that we have gained this season is going to be tested this week because of the insane NFL scheduling. Even though all 32 NFL teams play this week, we have the smallest main slate in the history of DFS this week with just eight games on DraftKings and nine on FanDuel this week. What this means is there is a very small player pool and that the chalk will be immense…
