Jaguars | Darnell Savage prepping for expanded role

Jacksonville Jaguars S Darnell Savage is expected to begin the offseason as the team’s starting nickel cornerback, according to head coach Doug Pederson. Savage played roughly 23% of his defensive snaps in the slot as a nickel in five seasons with the Green Bay Packers, but his volume and percentage is expected to increase significantly under defensive coordinator Ryan Nielsen.
