Atlanta Falcons general manager Terry Fontenot said he would be ‘very confident’ in retaining QB Kirk Cousins to be the team’s backup for the 2025 season. Fontenot also indicated that reports saying Cousins would be released before a $10 million roster bonus was due on March 17 were unfounded.
