Washington Commanders LB Frankie Luvu was fined a total of $33,766 by the National Football League for two separate plays during the second quarter of the Divisional Round playoff game versus the Detroit Lions. The first $16,883 fine was for roughing the passer, when his block against QB Jared Goff aided a pick-six return by delivering a blow to Goff’s head and neck. The second $16,883 fine was for an illegal hip-drop tackle versus RB Jahmyr Gibbs a few plays later. Luvu was not flagged on either play.
