Updating a previous report, Washington Commanders QB Marcus Mariota (leg) is nursing a strained lower leg, and head coach Dan Quinn said Wednesday, Aug. 6 that his level of concern is ‘low’. Still, it’s unlikely Mariota will play in the preseason opener Friday, Aug. 8 against the New England Patriots.
