Indianapolis Colts OT Braden Smith recently revealed that he struggled with religious scrupulosity – a form of obsessive-compulsive disorder – last season. Smith eventually checked into a mental health facility in Colorado and also used the drug Ibogaine in Mexico – the latter of which has seemingly helped Smith immensely.
‘I was physically present, but I was nowhere to be found. I did not care about playing football. I didn’t care about hanging out with my family, with my wife, with my newborn son,’ Smith told the Indianapolis Star.
