Arizona Cardinals RB Trey Benson is averaging 6.0 yards per carry with 21 rushes for 125 yards through three games. That ranks second in the NFL among qualified rushers. Benson takes over as the lead back with RB James Conner’s (ankle) season-ending injury. ‘I’m fully confident in Trey, I really am,’ head coach Jonathan Gannon said Monday. ‘I think the more he plays, the more comfortable you see him getting and the better he’s going to be.’
