Broncos head coach Sean Payton confirmed on Thursday that he will take back offensive play-calling duties from offensive coordinator Davis Webb, whom he gave them to this offseason. “We’ll make a change offensively. I’ll call the plays,” Payton said, citing a belief that “there’s more there” offensively than Denver has shown through four weeks. Webb will remain involved in building game plans, but Payton will be the voice in QB Bo Nix’s ear on gamedays, starting Sunday against the Chargers.
