Denver Broncos LB Drew Sanders (foot) suffered a tendon injury in his foot, and the ailment is expected to keep him sidelined for an extended period. He was carted off the practice field Saturday, July 26, and Sanders is not expected to return before the regular season opener Sept. 7. He and the team will decide on potential surgery in the next few days.
