Bears | Terell Smith’s season over

Chicago Bears DB Terell Smith (knee) is out for the season with a torn patellar tendon, according to a report by the Chicago Tribune’s Brad Biggs on Wednesday, Aug. 20. Smith was carted off the field with a non-contact injury late in the second quarter of the team’s second preseason game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. He is expected to be placed on the Reserved/Injured list.
