Chicago Bears DEs Dayo Odeyingbo and Shemar Turner were the only edge rushers on the roster prior to the 2026 NFL Draft, and the team did not select any edge rushers in the recently completed draft. Head coach Ben Johnson said Sunday, April 26, that he has faith in Odeyingbo (Achilles) and Turner (knee). Both players suffered season-ending injuries in 2025. The team also has DE Montez Sweat and DL Austin Booker, so the cupboard isn’t totally bare.
