This week is going to be a fun one as all golfers will be tested throughout their games and grind their ways through the week. Rory has some of the best course history here but since I will be on him this week, I’m sure he will somehow figure out how to miss the cut for the first time ever kind of like Dufner a couple weeks ago.
Player Breakdown:
Jon Rahm (Cash/GPP) $11,400
Rahm has never played here in the past, but I think he is trying to get his game perfect before all the really big tournaments. Great play as always even when he misses a bunch of putts he still finds a way to do good that week.
Rory Mcllroy (Cash/GPP) $11,100
Some of the best course history at this course along with great stats to go with that.
Sungjae Im (Cash/GPP) $9,900
Plays so well at this course with two top 5s. Also his stats line up well and we all know how good he is on Bermuda greens.
Scottie Scheffler (GPP) $10,600
I never like Scottie for cash games, but I do not mind him for GPP because of how much upside he brings. Finished 15th here the only time he has come here.
Matthew Fitzpatrick (Cash/GPP) $9,200
He just likes tougher Bermuda courses and if they wind decides to pick up this week. He still sets up very well here.
Taylor Gooch (Cash/GPP) $8,600
Gooch week baby. He looks to set up well this week and I will be putting him in the article because I will not miss his smash week.
Jason Kokrak (GPP) $8,400
Potentially a lower owned guy that I will be on. He shows up in what I am looking at and to be able to lose a bunch of strokes putting here in 2019 and still finish top 10 is kind of insane.
Russell Henley (Cash/GPP) $8,500
Might be a little sneaky this week but even if he’s not I like him quite a bit.
Paul Casey (Cash/GPP) $8,300
I really do like Casey in this spot this week and I think he gets top 20 at least.
Sam Burns (GPP) $8,800
Not the greatest form but his talent is great and can win a tournament on any given week. He also loves fast Bermuda greens and that is what we have this week.
Cameron Tringale (GPP) $8,000
Thrives at tougher courses and he is Gpp because if you look at his last 7 events you will understand.
Tommy Fleetwood (GPP) $7,900
Probably will be lower owned because he burned some people including me last week, but he has done well here in the past and like Florida swing.
Christiaan Bezuidenhout (Cash) $7,700
Best putting surface is Bermuda and also finished 18th and 8th at this tournament. He likes to show up at tougher courses including majors, so I like him quite a bit this week.
Seamus Power (GPP) $7,600
Not sure I fully believe in this play but before his last two missed cuts he has played very well and can score well at this price tag.
Justin Rose (Cash/GPP) $7,700
Has been very consistent as of late and as long as he can keep that putter in check. We will be good.
Corey Conners (Cash/GPP) $7,600
Which Corey Conners are we going to see this week is the main question. His irons have been kind of shaky lately, but we know he is a great iron player and could light this course up. Another good thing is his best putting surface is Bermuda.
Luke List (GPP) $7,500
I will like this play a bit more if the wind picks up but hasn’t missed a cut here and has top 10 upside.
Erik Van Rooyen (GPP) $7,400
Don’t love how his worst putting surface is Bermuda but his form is actually decent lately and plays tougher courses well.
Matthew Wolff (GPP) $7,400
I have always said wherever Bryson does good is a course Wolff should do good as they are pretty much the same golfer. The only problem is since starting the new year he has been so dang bad. I am willing to take a shot here in Gpp because he is super cheap and should be lower owned.
Lanto Griffin (Cash/GPP) $7,100
Good play on the week as he is a decent putter and plays tough courses well.
Chris Kirk (GPP) $7,500
Plays well here and we know his upside any week. Some of the stuff I am looking at he excels at.
Aaron Wise (GPP) $6,900
Cheap this week and is a good golfer who is inconsistent but other weeks when he makes the cut can top 10.
Matt Wallace (Cash/GPP) $6,400
Likes to show up at tougher courses and can do well here.
Adam Svensson (Cash/GPP) $6,700
He is a very accurate player on the PGA tour and can do well at difficult courses.
Patrick Reed (GPP) $7,400
He has been awful, but this would be the perfect week to turn it around.
Martin Laird (Cash/GPP) $7,000
I am not sure he can top 10 at this course but getting a guy through the cut and scoring on the weekend could help you out. He is a grinder.
Ian Poulter (Cash/GPP) $7,200
Perfect type of course he should excel at. Also looking at his previous times here that proves it.
Thomas Pieters (GPP) $7,000
Always plays tougher courses and I usually like him at every one of them. Not a great putter but whatever the weather turns into this week he will still play well.
