San Francisco 49ers TE Khalil Dinkins (undisclosed) was placed on the active/non-football injury (NFI) list upon reporting to training camp with the rookies Saturday, July 18. He remains eligible to come off of the NFI list to play in his rookie season. Dinkins is viewed as an in-line blocker when the team intends to use multiple tight ends, therefore he is viewed as a depth player initially.
