San Francisco 49ers OT Trent Williams and general manager John Lynch continue to be in communication despite the offensive tackle having his option declined. ‘We’ve had good communication throughout, last week it’s intensified,’ Lynch said at the NFL meetings in Phoenix. ‘Feels like we’re on the precipice of something good happening. Don’t want to make statements that we’re right there. We’re hopeful.’
