Updating previous reports, San Francisco 49ers LB De’Vondre Campbell is expected to be suspended for refusing to play in Week 15’s game versus the Los Angeles Rams. The team is unlikely to place him on waivers because he could then be claimed by another club and play out the remainder of the season. In addition, the 49ers would then be able to reclaim some of his $3.35 million signing bonus.
