Jeff Mans breaks down everything you need to know to build safe, high-floor lineups for your cash games.
If the money element is a problem for you now, take some time off paid contests and concentrate on your lineup building. You guys see THOUSANDS of our subscribers winning DFS NFL contests every single week, right? You see me win either cash or GPP (sometimes both!) most weeks too, right? Any problem you are having is not with the analysis here at Fantasy Guru. There will be bad weeks across the board, that is for sure. But despite some injuries and the Andrews/Hockenson fail last week, members keep winning.
If you lose a week or two, that is completely normal, and you shouldn’t be freaking out. Even if you are 1-3 in cash games this year, there is no reason for concern. But if you are stating that you are 0-4 in cash and having no success in other contests as well, the problem simply has to be with the building of your lineups. Get that straightened out, and you are home free. We are here to help you.
You need to look at DFS (and sports betting for that matter) as a skill that you are trying to develop. You need to get your process right, your bankroll right, your contests right and your lineup building right. Once you accomplish this, DFS can be a money machine for you. You won’t win every week. But when you have these skills, you are not concerned when you have a bad week. You will be able to go back the next week, ramp up your play and win back whatever you lost the previous day/week.
My goal for every one of you is to help you develop these traits, create your own process, and put you on a path to success. For a couple of you, that will mean winning life-changing money. For many others, that will mean being able to earn some supplemental income. For some, that will mean treading water week in and week out. For some, that will mean losing your ass.
I am a strong believer in hard work paying off. The “range of outcomes” when it comes to DFS play will ultimately come down to the effort that you put into it. We are here every day able and willing to help. That is the service we provide. You can get to where you want to be, but only if you’re willing to do all that is necessary to get there...
