Houston Texans second-round draft choice John Metchie (Alabama) is expected to return from his torn anterior cruciate ligament at some point during the 2022 season, but head coach Lovie Smith admitted Friday, May 13, that the team is still ‘in the process’ of finding out where he is in his recovery. Smith noted the Texans expect to have a better idea about Metchie’s recovery in a couple of weeks.
