Oakland Raiders TE Darren Waller played all 55 of the team’s offensive snaps in Week 1 against the Denver Broncos. Head coach Jon Gruden also suggested Waller’s role didn’t necessarily grow because Antonio Brown was no longer a part of the team during his weekly press conference Tuesday, Sept. 10.
‘We’re going to get the ball to Waller. Waller’s special,’ Gruden told Myles Simmons of the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
