These rankings are designed to rank the players for the next 2-3 years for keeper and dynasty leagues, but we do tend to give some players with immediate value a slight bump based on their ability to help you now. We also at times give players we are high on for down the road a little bit of a bump up. Our ratings for talent consider skill level and ability to excel in the pros. Our ratings for opportunity consider supporting cast, system, and durability. Mouse over the "KEY" icon to see what the various categories and symbols mean.

Rank Name Pos Age Team Up Dn MOVE Comments
QB27---Has issues but will always put up numbers due to passing and running skills, and stocked with young WRs and OL help in '16 draft.
QB28---Intangibles off the charts and play on field also stellar with rushing production and WR Lockett looks legit.
QB33---Up and down in 2016, but still relatively young and a future HOFer and some hope at WR with some young guys and TE Bennett is nice asset.
QB26---Gifted thrower and athletic and WR Cooper and TE Walford are nice additions, so things look promising as he can clearly play.
QB23YES-UPMany strong attributes and appealing qualities on the field and D-Jax's speed plus top TE Howard gives him 2 big upgrades so looking good.
QB29---Still an elite arm talent and Jim Bob Cooter a good fit and locked in as OC, and Calvin retiring was not an issue.
QB23YES--He's improved midseason and is developing into a solid pocket QB, but they need some speed at WR and Murray won't do it much longer.
QB28---The hits have taken a toll and a down year in 2016 and looking less appealing heading into '17.
QB23YES--Prescott is a good athlete with a strong arm and if he keeps working on his craft he's shown he can be a star, and he will keep working.
QB38---Few signs of slippage and can still put up numbers next 1-2 years with Payton as HC even with Cooks gone as Ginn a viable replacement for now.
QB39---Can still put up huge numbers and no sign of a slow-down and loaded with playmakers, including impressive young WR Mitchell and now stud Cooks.
QB28---Settled in nicely here with Gruden but team is a mess and if he stays in Wash will really need Doctson to come through, yet Pryor helps for '17 too.
QB32---Short-term future looks good, but Shanahan is gone so there will be a drop-off and Julio may not play 2-3 more years.
QB24---Strong physical skills/mental ability, showed clear signs of elite player potential and Jeffery+Torrey for 2017 makes solid receiving corps.
QB35--UPHas some solid years left in him and WR corps could be great with rookie Williams if Allen is healthy.
QB21YES-UPShould start 8+ games in '17 and solid spot for him to manage offense with strong weapons and he will run so likely to post top-15 digits in 1-2 years.
QB29--UPOL has taken 2 big hits in 2017 but addition of Ross gives him nice potential with AJ, Eifert, and Boyd in the slot.
QB36--UPSo-so play in '16 a slight concern given his age, but pretty ridiculous receiving corps now with Marshall and Engram added with OBJ and Shepard.
QB28---Smart/athletic with big arm and running ability and new HC Gase gives him a chance with revamped OL and a foundation back in Ajayi.
QB35-YES-OL in solid shape w/ stud talents in WR Brown/RB Bell, plus Bryant a difference maker but becoming a year-to-year guy w/ retirement in play.
QB27---His athleticism provides Bills and fantasy owners with a solid floor and likely in as starter next 2 years at least after '17 contract re-do.
QB25-YES-Impressive physical tools and talented young receiving corps, but he devolved in 2016 and future isn't as promising now.
QB25YES--Solid showing in 2016, but Brady wants to keep playing 3-4 more years so Jimmy needs to be traded for 2017, but a FA in 2018.
QB21YESYESUPWill have top-12 upside in 2-3 years in this solid spot but also tangible downside as he has issues with nuances of the position.
QB22YES-UPMay not play much in '17 but that's good for him and he'll eventually run and a solid chance to settle in as top-20 guy.
QB32---He can clearly play and Perriman could still pan out so he should be decent next 2-3 years at least.
QB29---He's never played as well as he did here in 2016 so has a chance to be a top-15 guy next 1-2 years at least if OL isn't brutal.
QB22YES--Slow start, but the guy and there's some talent around him and he can throw it well and new HC McVay told us in March of 2017 he can be Kirk Cousins.
QB37-YES-Fell off in 2016 and year to year guy now but he will return with Fitzgerald for 2017.
QB33---Maclin helping and Kelce is a stud plus some WR talent otherwise, but they may be tiring of him and his mediocre production and look for replacement.
QB21YES--It's questionable if he can excel in NFL, but size/talent not an issue and he can produce big with his legs.
QB23YES--Athletic freak, and should have nice weapons and physical tools to put up numbers, but plenty of development still needed and no lock to arrive.
QB26YES--Has a lot of positive traits and did well in 2015 when he played, and could be traded with a chance to start as soon as 2017.
QB25---Average player at Northwestern but he has showed well in 2016 so should still have a future as a starter somewhere even with Lynch here.
QB31-YES-Was at least solid in 2016 and they won't get Cousins in 2017 so he should be the starter for SF this year.
QB27---Has a big arm and is in a good spot with O'Brien but chances are slim here now with Watson added so looks like career backup.
QB27--DOWNShows many good traits and a big arm, but they gave up a lot for Trubisky, so Glennon needs to move on and for now looks like a backup next 1-2 years.
QB24---Smart/accurate with good pocket feel, showed fairly well in 2016, but poor arm and minimal upside and not QB of the future here.
QB22YES-UPLanded in a great spot as Big Ben could call it quits any time and Dobbs has tools to work with.
QB23YES--Not overly talented or flashy, but many NFL traits and Taylor is year-to-year guy, so Peterman has a chance in 1-2.
QB22--UPHuge arm, but very inconsistent and he may never come through, yet should get a legit chance to challenge for job in 2017.
QB26-YES-Terrible showing in 2016 and it's more likely than not he's a backup here or is moved to another team, so not someone to count on.
QB26---Threw a lot of INTs in '16 but played well otherwise so might have value at times in SF until they find their franchise QB, but Hoyer will be higher on depth chart.
QB25---We have doubts about his ability to transition to the NFL, and Jets seem to agree with Hackenberg pick and 2016 did him no favors.
QB34FA-YES-He's like Jason from Friday the 13th in that he cannot be killed, but Jameis has been very durable so Fitz may only hold a clipboard.
QB37-YES-Age a major issue and at this point and released in 2017, yet landed on a team in NYJ without a QB, so he could start this year.
QB24---A “winner” and producer in college, he could have a long NFL career but fell in draft due to leadership concerns and so-so passing.
QB28---He's at best a #2 QB and was awful in 2015, and he'll likely be a journeyman from here on out.
QB32---Just a veteran backup unless Tannehill is out or terrible, but capable with some weapons and OC Gase, and signed new deal in 2016.
